IT Support Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide first tier onsite and remote control support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware and network cabling
  • Computer troubleshooting
  • Response to queries over the phone or by email
  • Follow up with users to ensure the problem has been solved
  • Handle scheduled and ad hoc support task
  • Evaluate new hardware and software technology
  • Field support engineer

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years working experience in System support
  • Knowledge of networking, windows server, office365 will be an advantage
  • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; be able to multitask effectively during peak times; exercise professionalism during stressful situations
  • Good command of both spoken and written English 
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with or without supervision and willing to learn
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Occasional travel & vessel attendance is required
