
IT Support Officer
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide first tier onsite and remote control support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware and network cabling
- Computer troubleshooting
- Response to queries over the phone or by email
- Follow up with users to ensure the problem has been solved
- Handle scheduled and ad hoc support task
- Evaluate new hardware and software technology
- Field support engineer
Job Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years working experience in System support
- Knowledge of networking, windows server, office365 will be an advantage
- Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; be able to multitask effectively during peak times; exercise professionalism during stressful situations
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with or without supervision and willing to learn
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Occasional travel & vessel attendance is required
